Gum Package.

    

a)    What is the feeling you wanted your gum package to portray? How did you achieve this?

The feeling that I wanted my gum package to portray is a fruity, vibrant, and cool feeling. I achieved this feeling by, adding gum colours, and lots of bright fruity colours, plus many fun fruit shapes.

b)      Who are you targeting your gum to? How did you achieve this?

The people that I am targeting my gum to are, mostly people around the age of 12 to 24. I achieved this by, making it look fun, yet sopshiticated.

c)     What area in your design did you use Photoshop?

The area of my design that I used Photoshop is the detailing, and the brushes.

d)      More marks are given to designs that are custom created and not just taken from free vectors or free stock photography. What part of your gum package did you custom design?

The part of my gum package that I custom designed was, the detailing and also the brushes.

 

Tattoo/Logo.

     My tattoo represents me, by incorperating calm colours(light green and orange), and bolded letters-showing the boldness that I sometimes have in me. It also represents/reflects the “softness” that is in my personaility. 

     I designed my tattoo to represent all of the above by just choosing light colours that I like, writing my name, and bolding my initials and also adding a heart.

Magazine Cover

A)                The qualities of the magazine that makes it effective are:The array of colors that are used to design it and form the contrast, the bold text and outstanding picture of the model, and also the dark background; that makes every detail stand out. I also think that it’s very visually pleasing because; it’s calm-not loud, it’s easy going on the eyes plus it’s not overwhelmed with objects.  B)        The order of the hierarchy that I was trying to accomplish was, to make the model catch most of the attention, then to secondly make the title or name of the magazine stand out also. Plus, lastly I tried to make the captions stand out more or less likely the “Major Work out Tips” caption.

Fruit-Bowl

Questions: Fruit Bowl
 
1.) The combination of tools that I used to isolate the fruit in the picture was the magnetic lasso and the magic wand.
 
2.) Of all the methods that I have used to isolate the pictures I think that the method that was the most effective was the lasso tool.
 
3.) For the “experiment”, I found out that the Feathering tool fades the background, and gives it the look of being “soft” or “smooth”.
